Champaign
An arrest was made on the charges of retail theft, burglary from a motor vehicle and possession of drug equipment at Circle K, 2315 W. Springfield Ave., around midnight Friday. According to the report, the suspect stole items from a gas station and burglarized a vehicle in the establishment’s parking lot. The police discovered drug paraphernalia in the suspect’s possession upon apprehending them.
An arrest was made on the charges of aggravated battery and the possession of an in-state warrant at Blind Pig Tavern, 120 N. Walnut St., around midnight Friday. According to the report, a patron who had been battered the previous week at the same location was battered again by one of the same suspects from the prior incident.
Domestic battery was reported in the 1800 block of Cynthia Drive around 3 p.m. Wednesday.According to the report, while visiting his mother and sister, the offender battered both and fled the scene.

Aggravated battery was reported in the 1800 block of South Neil Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the suspect was identified as the aggressor in a fight on Oct. 19 that left another person injured. The suspect was issued a state notice to appear in court for the charge.
An arrest was made on the charge of domestic battery at Shelden Hall, 1005 S. Lincoln Ave., around 1 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, a witness initially called police to respond to a loud argument in one of the residence hall rooms. Police then determined the suspect was the aggressor in a physical altercation between roommates.
Urbana
An arrest was made on the charge of domestic battery in the 2000 block of Philo Road around 1 a.m. Friday. According to the report, the victim and suspect, who are in a dating relationship and live together, engaged in an argument, during which the suspect slapped the victim in the face.
Theft was reported in the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 10 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the victim’s cell phone was taken from her apartment by an unknown offender.
An arrest was made on the charge of aggravated assault in the 1100 block of West Oregon Street around 10 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, after the victim asked the suspect to leave his place of business, the suspect brandished a knife and cornered the victim, which the victim said made them feel panicked.
