A car crash around 7:23 a.m. on Neil Street at Stadium Drive Wednesday has caused traffic to close through the roads.

Neil Street between Kirby Avenue and Hessel Boulevard and Hessel Boulevard between Randolph and Neil streets are blocked off still due to the two-vehicle crash.

Thomas Yelich, Champaign police spokesman told the News-Gazette that one driver with serious injuries was taken to the hospital, while the other driver was not seriously hurt. Investigators are still trying to figure out what actually happened.
