Domestic battery was reported in the 1200 block of Providence Court around 3:30 p.m. Nov. 23. According to the report, the victim and offender had a verbal altercation that eventually turned physical. No injuries were reported.
Deceptive practices was reported at O’Reilly Autoparts, 1009 N. Mattis Ave, around 4 p.m. Nov. 23. According to the report, the offender passed several bad checks at the victim business.
Retail theft was reported at Kohl’s, 109 Convenience Center Road, around 2 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the suspect was issued a city notice to appear for shoplifting a Nike t-shirt.

Theft was reported at the University Golf Course, 800 Hartwell Drive in Savoy, on Nov. 24. According to the report, a $1,000 golf cart and a $300 battery charger was reported stolen from the golf course. Forced entry was discovered to the secure building where the cart had been stored.
Theft was reported in the 700 block of South Gregory Street around 3 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim reported a package had been stolen after it was delivered. The package had a retail value of $195.

Aggravated battery was reported in the 600 block of University Avenue around 2 p.m. Friday. According to the report, the victim was shot in the right arm.
An arrest was made on the charges of domestic battery was reported in the 1100 block of East Main Street around 10 a.m. Friday. According to the report, the suspect and victim are in a relationship and live together. The suspect then pushed the victim, causing injury.
An arrest was made on the charge of attempted burglary from motor vehicle in the 1500 block of Cunningham Avenue. According to the report, the suspect tried to break into the victim’s car without permission.
