Credit card fraud was reported Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender made purchases totaling $1,101.67 from the victim’s debit card while the card was still in the victim’s possession.
Theft was reported at Bousfield Hall, 1214 S. First St., between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s bike, which was valued at approximately $400, while it was locked to a rock outside of the building.
An arrest was made on the charge of retail theft at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., around noon Friday. According to the report, the suspect was caught attempting to leave the store with a textbook valued at $170.86 and was issued a notice to appear in court for theft.
Urbana
An arrest was made on the charges of trespassing, theft and disorderly conduct at Steak ’n Shake, 2009 N. Kenyon Road, around 11 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the suspect, who was an employee of the business, refused to leave the property after repeated requests by her manager and eventually left after throwing food and dishes in the workspace kitchen. The suspect also took $20 that belonged to the store when she left. The suspect was taken to Champaign County jail and left in the custody of correctional officers.

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported in the 600 block of Oakland Avenue around 6 a.m. Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole one purse or wallet, one piece of electronic equipment and one camera or camera accessory from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.
Residential burglary and criminal damage to property was reported in the 1000 block of South Smith Road around 3 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the offender, who is the victim’s girlfriend, entered the victim’s residence without his consent, damaged a T.V. in the residence and stole two pieces of jewelry and one piece of clothing.
