Lewd and concerning behavior was reported at Orchard Downs, 1801-1815 Orchard Place, around 11:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender was seen approaching a bedroom window and played a pornographic video on their mobile device against the window.

Theft was reported at Holonyak Micro and Nanotechnology Laboratory, 208 N. Wright St., sometime between Monday and Wednesday. According to the report, a University student reported a laptop valued at approximately $290 had been stolen from an office.

Animal cruelty was reported in the 1200 block of Green Street around 1 p.m. Jan. 17. A welfare check was done on a group of rabbits living at the residence, which led to them being surrendered. An appearance notice was also issued for no rabies shot record.

Retail theft was reported at Freedom Oil Co., 1812 Cunningham Ave., around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the unknown offender entered the business to purchase an item and said they would return to pay for gas. The offender then drove off without paying for the gas. An employee managed to get the license plate number down before they left.

Credit card fraud was reported in the 600 block of Florida Avenue around 2 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender utilized the victim’s credit card for unauthorized purchases.
