Forgery was reported at Aldi, 801 W. Interstate Drive, around 1 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the manager of the business called the police to report a counterfeit bill submitted by an unknown offender.
Illegal dumping was reported in the 2000 block of South Neil Street around 8 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offending company had been placing donation boxes on the victim business’s properties for approximately two years without permission.
Criminal damage to property was reported in the 500 block of East Washington Street around 8 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim claimed that the windshield of his vehicle was damaged by unknown offenders while he was driving.

Urbana
Theft and credit card fraud was reported at Schnucks, 200 N. Vine St., around 11 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim’s wallet was taken from her shopping cart by an unknown offender, and the credit card inside was used at two local gas stations.
An arrest was made on the charges of driving under the influence of drugs and driving under a suspended license at Casey’s General Store, 2100 E. University Ave., around 8 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the suspect was found unconscious in his vehicle outside the business with indications of being intoxicated. After being taken into custody, the suspect admitted to consuming narcotics.
Domestic battery was reported in the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 10 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim claimed the offender, her boyfriend, had physically attacked her during an argument the night before. The offender claimed the argument was only verbal and left the residence.
