Carle Hospital launched two new screening tools that would help patients determine if they need further assistance when experiencing symptoms of coronavirus.

Carle made an online assessment that includes a series of questions that would be asked at an in-person screening. Based on these responses, the results will guide a patient on how, where or if he or she should seek further care.

The next tool now available is a dedicated coronavirus hotline for answering questions as well as a virtual health assessment. Patients can call 217-902-6100 and press 1 for this hotline.
