Champaign

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 1700 block of Union Street around 10:39 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the vehicle was broken into overnight. Nothing of value was stolen.

University

A report was made on Tuesday by a woman who received death threats online and over the phone by a family member. According to the report, both the woman and threatening party do not live in the Champaign-Urbana area, but the woman was staying at a hotel on campus when she received the threats. 

Urbana

Retail theft was reported on the 100 block of South High Cross Road around 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, three unknown offenders stole merchandise from a Walmart by neglecting to ring up all items they left the store with. 

Burglary was reported on the 1800 block of Federal Drive around 7 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the unknown offender(s) broke through a fence, broke locking devices on two vehicles, and then stole items from the vehicles.
