Champaign

An arrest was made for resisting arrest, possession of a stolen firearm and unlawful possession/use of a firearm by a felon on the 1500 block of Marigold Lane around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the suspect was arrested after fleeing from police near Bradley and James.

Theft of a motor vehicle was reported on the 600 block of East University Avenue around 1:30 a.m. on Monday. According to the report, the victim’s black Chrysler 300 was stolen from a gas station parking lot.

University

A trespasser was given a state notice to appear in court for obstructing identification at Memorial Stadium, 1402 South First St. around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. According to the report, several individuals were trespassing on the football field, and the trespasser in question gave responding officers a fake name, date of birth and address.
