Aggravated battery was reported at Willard Airport, 11 Airport Road, Savoy around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the victim’s rideshare driver drove the victim to the airport, and upon arriving, exited the vehicle and punched the victim after a verbal dispute. University of Illinois Police Department stopped the driver and gave him an issue to appear in court after he had left the scene.

Deceptive practices were reported on the 1700 block of South Race Street around 10 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the unknown offender contacted the victim via phone and used the deception to steal money from the victim.
