Residential burglary was reported on the 200 block of West Illinois Street around 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s residence without permission and took items, including currency and credit cards. 

Motor vehicle theft and burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at the intersection of Beech Street and North Mathews Avenue around 10 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s vehicle and deprived the victim of their vehicle while the victim was inside a friend’s house. The vehicle was later recovered and the unknown offender took the victim’s car keys without permission.
