Champaign

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 400 block of East Church Street around 12:05 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim reported her vehicle as stolen. CCSO later found the same vehicle burned in county jurisdiction. 

Residential burglary was reported on the 2000 block of Moreland Boulevard around 11:55 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the unknown offender entered the victim’s residence and left with multiple property items.

University

Nothing to report.

Urbana

Theft $500 and under was reported on the 800 block of West Illinois Street around 9:51 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole the rear wheel of the victim’s bicycle. There is no suspect information available at this time. 

Theft of lost/mislaid property was reported on the 2500 block of Philo Road around 7:31 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the unknown offender took the victim’s cellphone which was left unattended on a counter in Meijer.
