Champaign

Armed robbery was reported on the 100 block of West Green Street around 7:37 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, there was an armed robbery at CVS Pharmacy. The offender has not yet been identified. 

Motor vehicle theft was reported on Euclid Street and Gregory Drive around 11:25 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim claimed his vehicle was parked on the street when it was stolen. The vehicle was later recovered and determined not stolen on Monday. 

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 1100 block of South Elm Street around 9:18 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim’s vehicle was broken into overnight and her purse was removed.

University

An offender was issued a State of Illinois notice to appear in relation to a previously issued citation he received for driving with a suspended license near Neil and Green streets around 5:27 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, an officer stopped the offender, who was in the passenger seat of his registered vehicle, after a records check showed he had an outstanding Champaign County warrant for failure to appear in court for the suspended license charge.

Theft $500 and under was reported on the 300 block of Crystal Lake Drive around 2:25 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, lawn equipment was stolen from in front of the victim’s residence at an unknown time. 

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 900 block of South Lincoln Avenue around 8:31 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s vehicle, which was parked at her residence’s parking lot. 

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 500 block of Cunningham Avenue around 3:19 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender used unknown means to damage the Arby’s mailbox.
