University

Check fraud was reported by a University student. According to the report, someone had written 19 fraudulent checks totaling $1,841.73 and charged it against the account of a University registered student organization. The checks were written between April 27 and Oct. 1.

Theft under $500 was reported at Bousfield Hall, 1212 S. First St. on either Sunday or Monday. According to the report, a University student’s bicycle was stolen while locked to a rack and has an estimated value of $450.

Urbana

Theft under $500 was reported on the 700 block of Colorado Avenue around midnight on Sept. 22. According to the report, an unknown offender took mail and packages from the victim’s mailbox.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 700 block of North Busey Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender punctured the victim’s tires on their vehicle.
