Theft of a motor vehicle was reported at Willard Airport, 11 Airport Road, Savoy around 5:41 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, a vehicle was reported stolen from a rental company. A man reported that he had rented a vehicle on behalf of an acquaintance, but the man who received the vehicle did not return it on its due date. The renter said he believes the driver did not intend to return the vehicle. The vehicle had a value of $20,000.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charge of retail theft on the 100 block of South High Cross Road around 11:55 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, the arrestee went through the self-checkout line and under rung items while at the victim business, Walmart. The offender was issued a notice to appear in court.

Theft under $500 was reported on the 600 block of West Park Street around 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 23. According to the report, the offender stole medication from a local hospital where she was employed.
