University

A University employee reported that someone had drawn a swastika on a virtual drawing board during an online meeting earlier on Tuesday. According to the report, the person who drew the image did not use University-affiliated login credentials to access the meeting. 

Urbana

Theft over $500 was reported on the 100 block of East University Avenue around 6:03 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a display model cell phone from a T-Mobile store and passed all points of sale without rendering purchase.

Identity theft was reported on the 2700 block of Coddington Court around noon on Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender used the victim’s personal information to order cell phones from Verizon.
