University

Theft under $500 was reported on the 500 block of Hazelwood Drive between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, a University employee reported that a specialty wheel cover had been stolen from his vehicle. The estimated value of the wheel cover was $60.

Urbana

Domestic battery was reported on the 500 block of Crystal Lake Drive around 6:37 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim and the offender are in a dating relationship and reside together. The offender allegedly battered the victim by throwing the victim to the ground and strangled the victim. The victim was uninjured and no evidence of a battery was observed.
