Champaign

Aggravated battery was reported in the 300 block of South Mattis Avenue around 7 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the subject was stabbed in the arm.

University

Robbery was reported outside of the Holonyak Micro and Nanotechnology Lab on Wright Street around midnight on Friday. According to the report, two students were walking on the Engineering Quad when they were approached by a person holding a handgun and demanded their phones and wallets. The students complied, and the offender ran from the area. Some items were recovered by police, but one wallet is still missing. No one was physically injured.

Robbery was reported in the 400 block of West Healey Street around 11 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, a student was walking through an underground parking garage when he was approached by two people with no weapons who demanded the student’s property. Police later found the items discarded nearby, except for cash from the student’s wallet. No one was physically injured.

Urbana

Deceptive practices were reported in the 900 block of Western Avenue around 3 p.m. on Thursday. According to the report, unknown offenders used the victim’s flight miles to purchase flights without the victim’s permission.
