An armed robbery at Sixth and Daniel streets occurred Monday evening.

Police have searched the area and developed a suspect, although they had not been located as of 7:46 p.m. According to an Illini-Alert, a handgun was involved.

An Illini-Alert sent out at 9:07 p.m. stated that police had cleared with an arrest and there are no further safety concerns in the area.
