A car rolled onto the sidewalk at the intersection of Green and Third streets Sunday afternoon.

UPDATE: Oct. 27, 12:36 p.m.
Jeremy Pierre, a visiting junior from Iowa State University, witnessed the accident.
“(A Honda) was heading east on Green Street, and after they stopped … they almost got T-boned by a car heading west,” Pierre said.
Pierre added that the other vehicle involved in the incident pulled out to the intersection and “stayed on the brake” after the close call, and that’s when the Jeep became involved.
“The Jeep was coming, who had the right of way, and (the Honda) hit him in the rear, and it ripped the spring out of the back of (the Jeep) and flipped it over,” Pierre said.
The Jeep has been towed as of approximately 1:37 p.m.
