Starting Feb. 27, the University of Illinois Extension will hold a five-week webinar series titled “Growing Great Vegetables.” It will inform attendees about a range of cultivation methods, from what kind of soil to use to what seeds will provide the best vegetables.
According to a press release from Illinois Extension, “Each session will explore a new topic and give participants the opportunity to engage with University Illinois Extension horticulture experts and receive emails with even more research-based tips and factsheets.”
The webinar sessions will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesdays. Each session will discuss a different topic and consist of a 50-minute presentation followed by a Q&A.
“Extension horticulture educators Chris Enroth, Jennifer Fishburn, Nicole Flowers-Kimmerle, Ken Johnson and Sarah Vogel will lead this series,” the Illinois Extension website said.
On April 23, participants can ask plant and gardening questions in a bonus session. Participants must register for the webinar series by Feb. 25.
