Oskee’s Sports Pub will open at Atkins Golf Club at the University this spring, per a press release from Atkins Golf Club management. The pub, branded as a restaurant and neighborhood spot, is named after the fight song of the University: “Oskee Wow-Wow.”
“Oskee’s will be a lively neighborhood pub bringing together generations of families and friends, alumni and fans, to toast cherished traditions, cheer on Illinois teams, and rally around the table over delicious food and drink,” the press release said.
The pub will provide breakfast for golfers in the mornings and an all-day menu of shareable plates and comfort foods.
“Oskee’s will be a great addition to Urbana and the entire community, which will welcome the non-golfer who is just looking for a casual sit-down restaurant bar to meet up with friends,” said Marty Kaufmann, senior associate athletics director at the University, in the press release.
Atkins Golf Club is located at 2560 S. Stone Creek Blvd. in Urbana and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except for Sunday and Monday.
