The Champaign Fire Department will be hosting their annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony this upcoming Monday.
According to a press release from the City of Champaign, the Memorial Ceremony will take place on Monday at 8:45 a.m. at the Champaign Fire and Police Memorial. This ceremony will mark the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. The event will be held outdoors, and the public is invited to attend.
“For those unable to attend the event, the City of Champaign asks our community to stop for a moment … and honor our commitment to never forget those lost during this national tragedy,” the press release said.
