From Nov. 8-22, Ameren Illinois will close lanes of Fourth Street to complete scheduled improvements for gas mains and other services.
According to a press release from the City of Champaign, starting this Wednesday, the northbound lane on Fourth Street will be closed from Washington and Hill streets until Nov. 14. Southbound traffic will remain uninterrupted.
Starting Nov. 15, Fourth Street will be closed between Washington and Hill streets with traffic not being allowed until Nov. 16. Local properties will still have access to the street.
On Nov. 17, the northbound lane on Fourth Street between Washington and Hill streets will be closed again. Southbound traffic will continue to be uninterrupted.
