University

Theft $500 and under was reported at the athletic fields at First Street and Stadium Drive, Champaign around 7 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, a University student’s shoes were reported stolen while the student was playing soccer. The stolen shoes have an estimated value of $130.

Urbana

Armed robbery was reported on the 400 block of West University Avenue around 7 a.m. on Monday. According to a report, three unknown offenders approached the victim and struck him on the head with a pistol. The offenders then took the victim’s money and cell phone.
