Theft over $500 was reported on the 600 block of South Duncan Road around 2:04 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim’s daughter stole multiple items, including currency.

Motor vehicle theft was reported on the 500 block of North Neil Street around 12:43 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the victim’s vehicle is missing without an explanation, and was presumed stolen.

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the 200 block of Burr Oak Court around 11:01 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, shell cases were located outside of the apartment. There were no victims and no damage was done. 

University

An arrest was made on the charge of warrant for harassment and making threats near Third Street and Springfield Avenue around 4:54 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, a police officer recognized the offender and was aware of the warrant. 

An offender was issued a Champaign County notice to appear in court on the charges of hosting a nuisance party, endangering public health and reckless conduct on the 900 block of South First Street around 5 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the offender was given the citations after further investigation was conducted on a party he hosted on Aug. 28. 

An arrest was made on the charge of Champaign County warrant for failure to appear in court near University Avenue and Market Street around 9:49 p.m. on Friday. According to the report, a police officer recognized the offender and was aware of the warrant. 

Urbana

Burglary was reported on the 400 block of South Poplar Street around 1:37 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole lawn care items after breaking into the victim’s garden shed. 

Credit card fraud was reported on the 1800 block of Philo Road around 9:46 a.m. on Saturday. According to the report, an unknown offender made online purchases using the victim’s credit card.
