Assault was reported at parking garage B4, 1201 E. University Ave., on Tuesday. According to the report, a University security guard approached a vehicle whose occupants were smoking cannabis. An occupant exited the vehicle and proceeded to threaten the security guard. The offender then left the area in another vehicle.

Urbana

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the 1000 block of Killarney Street around 3:10 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender fired one shot out of their motel room at the victims’ motel room. By the time police arrived, the unknown offender had already left. It is currently unknown who fired the one gunshot.
