An arrest was made on the charges of possession of a controlled substance and residential burglary on the 800 block of West Green Street around 10 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the suspect entered the victim’s apartment and attempted to steal items from the victim. The victim was able to recover the items from the suspect, and the suspect fled. During a search of the area, the suspect was located and was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
