University

Theft was reported at the ARC located at 201 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, a University student reported that his wallet was stolen. 

Urbana

Reckless discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property were reported on the 2000 block of Philo Road around 8 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender fired shots near occupied apartments. Police recovered multiple rifle and pistol shell casings. A fired round damaged an apartment window. 

An arrest was made on the charge of battery on the 800 block of West Florida Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the suspect was issued a notice to appear for throwing urine on his tenant during a dispute.
