Forgery and fraudulent practices were reported in the 1000 block of South County Squire Drive around 2 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, the victim was sent a check by the offender to pay for cleaning services through a payment app. The victim was scammed into sending the offender a refund prior to the check clearing her account.
