Theft under $500 was reported at the Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Dr., between 5:45 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. on Friday. According to the report, a student’s bicycle was stolen while it was locked to a rack. The estimated value of the bicycle is $350.

An offender was issued a Champaign notice to appear in court on the 300 block of East Green Street around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the offender was cited for “endangering public health” after he hosted a large party at his apartment.  

Urbana

Aggravated discharge of a firearm was reported on the intersection of Cottage Grove Avenue and Philo Road around 9:56 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the offender fired multiple shots at the victim while they were both driving in separate vehicles. Both the offender and the victim fled the scene in their vehicles in opposite directions. 

An arrest was made on the charge of retail theft on the 100 block of South High Cross Road around 2:59 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, the arrestee intentionally neglected to scan various items at the Walmart self checkout.
