Illinois to host Detroit and Winthrop

The NIT Season Tip off has named the teams that Illinois will host.

Detroit and Winthrop will come to State Farm Center before Illinois goes to take on West Virginia in Brooklyn, New York on Thanksgiving.

Illinois will take on Detroit on Nov. 18 then face Winthrop on Nov. 21.

Now seven non-conference games have been scheduled.

The other three teams involved in the tip off, West Virginia, Temple and Florida State will also host two teams.
THe NIT tip-off will be aired on ESPN.
