The Illinois women’s soccer team won its second and final scheduled exhibition on Sunday. The Illini defeated Wisconsin-Milwaukee 1-0 and posted their second consecutive shutout.

Freshman forward Jordan Hilbrands scored the Illini’s lone goal.

The team had a scare when senior forward and last year’s Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year Ella Masar took a bad fall. After staying on the ground for several minutes, Masar was able to get up and walk off the field on her own power. X-rays taken of her foot were negative.
