Weight: 251 lbs.
In his second full year of starting at linebacker for Illinois, Miller is seventh on the team in tackles with 23 and has 3.5 tackles for loss through five games. The Decatur native is part of an Illini defense that has allowed 95.4 rushing yards a game and just two rushing touchdowns. Miller had his best game against Syracuse, tallying seven tackles and a career-high two tackles for loss. If the Illini are going to spring another upset, Miller and the rest of the Illini defense will need to continue their stingy run defense.
Wisconsin: #39 P.J. Hill
Position: Running back
Class: Sophomore
Hometown: East Elmhurst, N.Y.
Height: 5-feet-11
Weight: 227 lbs.
Through five games Hill leads the Big Ten and is tied for fourth nationally with 12 points a game. He is second in the Big Ten and seventh nationally in rushing, averaging 133.4 yards rushing a game. Last week against Michigan State, Hill carried the ball 34 times for 155 yards and two touchdowns earning him Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors. In just his second season at running back Hill already ranks ninth on Wisconsin’s career rushing yardage list with 2,236 yards and also has 24 TDs for ninth on their school’s career rushing touchdowns list.
