For the second straight week Lindquist tied his career high in tackles, tallying six tackles against the Wolverines last week. He also set new career marks with 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks versus Michigan. Lindquist is tied for ninth on the team in tackles this season with 28 and is tied for second on the team with 3.5 sacks this year. The Highland Park, Ill., native will look to continue his solid play this week against a Ball State team that has given up 10 sacks all year.

Ball State: #13 Nate Davis

Position: Quarterback

Year: Sophomore

Hometown: Bellaire, Ohio

Height: 6-feet-2

Weight: 214 lbs.

In just his second year at Ball State, Davis is putting up some big numbers for the Cardinals’ offense. He has already surpassed the Ball State single season record for touchdown passes with 20, breaking his old mark of 18 which he set as a true freshman last season. Davis is averaging 285.8 yards passing per game this season and has only thrown three interceptions while completing 56.7 percent of his passes. Davis will look to continue his streak of throwing for more than 200 yards for an eighth straight week against an Illini secondary that has been suspect defending the pass the last few games.
