Illinois volleyball rebounds to defeat Iowa

After falling in five competitive sets to No. 13 Minnesota (25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-8) on Friday, No. 19 Illinois rebounded on Saturday against visiting Iowa.
Sophomore outside hitter Laura DeBruler paced the Illini on Saturday, hitting .326 with 21 kills and 15 digs. Freshman outside hitter Michelle Bartsch added 12 kills and 7 blocks as the Fighting Illini defeated the Hawkeyes in four sets, 25-23, 25-17, 19-25, 25-15.
The Illini improved to 11-4 on the season and 2-2 in the Big Ten with the victory.
