The Illini volleyball team defeated No. 19 Wisconsin Sunday in three sets (27-25, 25-17, 25-22).

Laura DeBruler had 14 kills and 11 digs, and the block was big all day for the Illini(5-3, 14-5) who pulled a game ahead of Wisconsin in the Big Ten and are tied with Purdue for third place.

Johannah Bangert and Michelle Bartsch had five block assists each, and Bangert chipped in for a solo block. Wisconsin was held to a .160 hitting percentage. The Illini face Purdue on Wednesday.
