The Illinois women’s golf team shot rounds of 323 and 315 at the Lady Northern on Saturday, putting them in 12th place out of 14. Their overall score of 62-over par trails leader No. 22 Purdue by 45 strokes. No. 23 Notre Dame and No. 20 Michigan State round out the top three.

Freshman Samantha Sloan tied for 47th after shooting rounds of 81 and 78 at Kampen Course to end the day at 15-over par. Freshmen Hailey Koschmann and Nora Lucas are tied with sophomore Raquel Hopton in 50th place, at 16-over.

The last round of play begins Sunday.
