Sophomore Leigh Finnegan was named to the Midwest Blast All-Tournament team after finishing the weekend with a perfect 3-0 in singles at the 2008 Midwest Blast on Sunday, said a press release.

The women’s tennis team finished their season this weekend at the 2008 Midwest Blast on Sunday at the Atkins Tennis Center in Urbana.

“We finished the fall on a high note with great competition on our home courts,” head coach Michelle Dasso said in the press release. “Finnegan had a breakthrough tournament and showed consistency in her performances throughout the entire weekend.”
