The Illinois women’s cross country team finished second in the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on Saturday, granting them an automatic qualification to the NCAA Championships.

Junior Angela Bizzarri led the team with a second-place finish individually. This marks the fifth year in a row the Orange and Blue have earned a place in the NCAA Championships, which begin Nov. 24.
