Illinois volleyball took it down to the wire in five sets on Saturday before defeating Michigan State 15-11 in the final set at Huff Hall on Senior Night.

Sophomore Laura DeBruler once again had a fantastic night, tallying 21 kills and 12 digs, as the Orange and Blue defeated the Spartans. Sophomore Abby Nelson also recorded an outstanding 0.474 hitting percentage in the victory.

While this was the final regular season home match that senior Lizzie Bazzetta, Kayani Turner, and Kristine Anderson will take part in, with a strong enough finish to the season, the seniors could once again take to the courts at Huff Hall for postseason play.
