On his last Big Ten Tournament …
“There’s more a sense of urgency, really. We’re playing well, the team’s playing really well. For me, the Big Ten Tournament has always been a lot of fun. It’s such a great environment. We’ve got great schools and great teams playing in it. It’s just a great event, I think, before the NCAA Tournament. It’s hard not to have a lot of fun. Those are some big games.”
“Last year, we had to win it all to get into the NCAAs. We’re not in the same boat this year. Still, every game is going to be a tough game, every one of them will be big. It’s a great opportunity to play more basketball and hopefully we can win a Big Ten Tournament Championship and get those rings. That’s something we’re all shooting for.”
On wedding arrangements …
“We aren’t making plans yet. I think after the season we’ll figure all that out. We’ve both just been so busy. She’s playing basketball as well (at St. Louis University), and she’s got her conference tournament this weekend. Yeah, we’ve had some time to think about it, but not enough time. We’ll get to it after this season.”

On senior night and the end of his college career …
“Senior Night was bittersweet, you know, the last game you play at Assembly Hall. But at the same time, I feel like we’ve got a lot of season left. It’s not over yet, but it’s sad to not play there anymore – I’ve been going to games there my whole life. I haven’t really had a chance to reflect back on all that too much. Maybe after the season I will. … I’m just enjoying the ride right now. It’s been a great journey to get here. Now I really hope we make the most of it and make a run in the NCAA tournament.”
