The dynamic duo both qualified for nationals with the marks they set during the indoor season. Over the course of the season, Lafond set two new school record while Wells is competing in the finals of the High Jump for the second consecutive season. Lafond is coming off a second-place finish in the 3,000 meter at the Big Ten Championship meet. Wells finished 13th but has aspirations to be recognized as an All-American — a title given to those who finish eighth or better.
