The No. 21 Illinois men’s basketball team (14-5; 6-2) is tied for first in the Big Ten after No. 11-ranked Michigan State (14-5; 6-2) fell to unranked Indiana (15-4; 5-3) in Bloomington, Ind. Thursday night.

Illinois will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. Saturday to face unranked Michigan for the second time this season in lieu of the Illini’s best season start in approximately 10 years. The Illini are fresh off a win at the Purdue Boilermakers Tuesday, winning their first game at Mackey Arena since 2008.

Illinois is also currently carrying the longest active winning streak in the Big Ten at five games, notably producing the program’s longest conference winning streak since clinching 25 consecutive dubs from the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

The No. 21-ranked Illini will face the Wolverines at 11 a.m. CT Saturday.
