The Cleveland Browns have agreed to sign Illinois defensive tackle Roderick Perry II as an undrafted free agent.

Perry II joined Illinois after four years at South Carolina State, transferring for the 2020 season. He started six games for the Illini, making 17 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and two sacks. Perry II was given All-Big Ten honors at the end of the season (media and coaches) even as he missed the last two games with an injury.

In his final year at Illinois, he recorded 26 tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in 11 games. His efforts as a disruptor in the middle of the Illinois defensive line earned him another All-Big Ten honorable mention (media and coaches).
