Hello! My name is Hailey, and I am a senior studying English. I joined The Daily Illini in Fall 2024 as a copy editor, became a slotter later that year and am now excited to serve as a Senior Copy Editor. I absolutely love interacting with staff writers and helping them put forth their best work! When I’m not fact-checking or editing, I enjoy writing about literature for the Arts &  Entertainment section of The DI. If I’m not in the office, you can likely find me reading and drinking tea at a cafe on campus!
