Hi, I’m Sahil, and I’m a junior double majoring in finance and marketing while also minoring in journalism. I was hired in Fall 2023, promoted to Senior Sports Reporter in Spring 2024 and am now excited to work as the Assistant Sports Editor. Since being with The Daily Illini, I’ve had the opportunity to closely cover Illini men’s basketball in Champaign and across the country, including Chicago, Las Vegas, New York City, Indianapolis and Milwaukee. When I’m not in class or busy covering Illinois sports, you can find me hanging out with friends, playing tennis or basketball and working for the NBA G League’s Windy City Bulls.
