The Feb. 24 story, “Fulfillment over Faith,” by Aaron Geiger is the best article I have read in the Daily Illini. Jennifer Hanson’s courage to share this personal tale of the hardships she faced while departing from a religious sect is powerful.

The article not only helps people who may be in a similar situation, but it empowers the majority of the students on this campus to stop following others and construct their own path.

In addition, this piece gives voices to the readers who lack the confidence to step away from expectations and seek their own fulfillment. This story allows you to stop and evaluate your life, and that is why this personal tale is so influential.
