Friday, October 22
Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally
6-8 p.m.
Parade 6-7 p.m. starting at the intersection of Sixth Street and Taft Drive in Champaign, traveling through Campustown and turning south on Mathews Avenue in Urbana to end at the Quad.
Pep Rally on the Quad follows the parade and features performances by University organizations, appearances by head football coach Ron Zook and the football team, presentation of the Alumni Association’s Lou Liay Spirit Award, and a fireworks finale.
Grand Opening of Student Dining and Residential Programs Building and Timothy J. Nugent Hall
