Amara Yoga & Arts will host an opening reception for an art exhibition by the Amara Community of artists, teachers and students on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Some of the local artists who have showcased their work at Amara will participate in the show include Knut Bauer, Frederick Beaurgeard, Don Briskin, Robert Chapman, Grace Georgio, Barbara Miller, Sasha Rubel and Lynosha Svinarski.

The art exhibition is open to all people and will be an opportunity to meet the artists.

The show will remain on display through studio hours, Saturdays 9 to 5 or by appointment through Jan. 30.
